Psalms 63/64

MP3 Music Playlist:

An.  O God you are my God, for you my soul is thirsting

O God, hear my cry!
Listen to my prayer!
From the end of the earth, I call
my heart is faint.

On the rock too high for me to reach
set me on high,
O you who have been my refuge,
my tower against the foe.

Let me dwell in your tent forever
and hide in the shelter of your wings.
For you, O God, hear my prayer,
grant me the heritage of those who fear you

O God, you are my God, for you I long;
for you, my soul is thirsting
My body pines for you
like a dry, weary land without water.
So I gaze on you in the sanctuary
to see your strength and your glory.

For your love is better than life,
my lips will speak your praise.
So I will bless you all my life,
in your name, I will lift up my hands.

My soul shall be filled as with a banquet,
my mouth shall praise you with joy.

On my bed, I remember you.
I muse through the night
for you have been my help;
in the shadow of your wings, I rejoice.

My soul clings to you;
your right hand holds me fast.
So I will always praise your name
and day after day fulfill my vows.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son *
and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now, *
And will be forever Amen

Ant. O God you are my God. for you, my soul is thirsting

O God, for you my soul is thirsting

Thanks, Ron, for your heartfelt arrangement of this psalm of yearning for God. May God save us all and bring tranquility to the world.

Thank You

Thank you Richard  for developing, maintaining, contributing to, and funding this website
May the Good Lord bless you in all your work. Ron St Martin

You are welcome.

I wish more people would take advantage of this opportunity to post their original songs of faith.

This website, hosted by InMotion Hosting, had been going offline for anywhere between 5 and 30 minutes at a time, daily, for the past few months. InMotion switched me to a different web server but that had the same downtime issue. Last week they migrated my websites to a third web server and that seems to be more stable now. Fingers crossed. InMotion is one of the few web hosting companies that still allows PHP 5.6 (which is a very old web "engine"). This website was built in 2007 by another developer and I took it it over in 2014. It is a Drupal 6 CMS (content management system) – also very old technology. The Drupal development community did not update the D6 audio modules (used in posts here) to D7 or higher. That was a thoughtless omission. I wish I could be running Drupal 9 or 10.

Hope and pray that it will continue

Maybe this is an answer to prayer. My website, innerwindow.net, is on Google Sites and is free. It has never had any downtime, that I know of.  Attached are two images from this site. Again thanks for all your work on this site and all your other endeavors. http://innerwindows.net

Catholic Fine Art website

Your website is actually http://innerwindows.net (you missed the s in your comment above).

It looks good. Lots of beautiful Catholic art.

Google Sites would not be a good alternative because it does not allow hosting of a Drupal CMS installation. Moving to Google hosting would mean rebuilding this site completely from scratch. The same would apply if I wanted to use WordPress CMS for this site.

Here's a comparison of Google Sites and Drupal: https://10web.io/builder-comparisons/google-sites-vs-drupal/

I just did some searching and it seems that Google Sites can include a "membership" portal (as this site does). However, member access to "protected" pages is one thing. Allowing members to post articles and upload their own music is far more complicated. It would not be possible to recreate all the features and sharing permissions of topcatholicsongs.com using Google Sites.
