Let flow a pure flood of
Of your divine mercy
That in their pain & struggle
know your compassion
And how you long for them to
Live forever more with you

By crown of piercing thorns!
Oh, bleeding Head, so wounded.
Reviled and put to scorn?
The pow'r of death comes o'er you,
The glow of life decays,
Yet angel hosts adore you,
And tremble as they gaze.
3 )In this, your bitter passion,
Good Shepherd, think of me
With your most kind compassion,
Unworthy though I be:
Be-neath your cross abiding,
For-ev-er would I rest,
In your dear love confiding
And with your presence blest.
4) O Jesus, we adore thee,
Upon the cross, our King!
We humbly bow before thee,
And of thy vic-t'ry sing!
Thy cross is our salvation,
