When You Appear In Glory

MP3 Music Playlist:
Psalm 102 was likely written during the Jewish captivity in Babylon, around 550 BCE. The psalm expresses the feelings of many Hebrews during this time. It prophesies the glorious coming of the lord at the end of time when all the nations and peoples of the earth will be gathered together before the Lord.
Ant. When you appear in glory all the nations will be amazed
1  Be attentive, Lord, to the prayer of the helpless.
2  But you, O Lord, will endure forever
3  and your name from age to age
4  You will arise and have mercy on Zion:

 1  for this is the time to have mercy;
 2  yes, the time appointed has come
 3 for your servants love her very stones,
 4 are moved with pity even for her dust.

    1 )  The nations shall fear the name of the Lord
    2 ) and all the earth’s kings your glory,
    3 ) when the Lord shall build up Zion again
    4 ) and appear in all his glory.

1 )Then he will turn to the prayers of the helpless;
2 )he will not despise their prayers.
3)Let this be written for ages to come
4)that a people yet unborn may praise the Lord;

     1 )for the Lord leaned down from on high.
     2 )He looked down from heaven to the earth
     3 )that he might hear the groans of the prisoners
     4 )and free those condemned to die.

1  The sons of your servants shall dwell untroubled *
2  and your people shall endure before you
3  that the name of the Lord may be proclaimed in Zion
4  and his praise in the heart of Jerusalem,
5  when peoples and kingdoms are gathered together
6  to pay their homage to the Lord.

      1   All earth’s kings shall thank you *

     2   when they hear the words of your mouth.
     3    They shall sing of the Lord’s ways: *
     4   “How great is the glory of the Lord!”

1   You stretch out your hand and save me, *
2  your hand will do all things for me.
3   Your love, O Lord, is eternal, *
4  discard not the work of your hands

1  Glory to the Father, and to the Son, *
2  and to the Holy Spirit:
3  as it was in the beginning, is now, *
4  and will be forever. Amen.
