    We sing to you O Lord /  who reigns above
     By the power of / your divine love
    
     Keep me safe, O God ,
     for in you I take refuge.
  
     I say to the Lord, You are my delight                                 
    apart from you, I have /  no desires
     I say to the holy people / who serve the Lord              
     You are my best friends / with whom I praise the Lord.
 
Those who run after other gods / multiply their sorrow.
    I will not offer sacrifices / to  these false gods
    or take up their names / on my lips.
  You alone are my true desire;
    you keep me safe
pleasant places you give me
   Beautiful indeed is my inheritance
I will praise the Lord / who counsels me;
    even at night my heart / instructs me.
I keep my eyes always / on the Lord.
    With him at my right hand, /I will not be shaken
Therefore my heart is glad / and my tongue rejoices;
    my body will also / rest ever secure,
because you will not abandon me /  to the realm of the dead,
    nor will you let your faithful one / see decay.
You make known to me /the path of life;
    you will fill me with joy / in your presence,
    with eternal joy / at your right hand
Glory to the Father / and to the Son                                                                   
As it was and is now / and forever
