This is a recent update of a song  I wrote years ago and posted of the same name a while ago.  I don't have all the recording equipment I used to have. This update song was recorded on a Google Pixel 5
phone and uploaded to YouTube.

   in the middle of a war, a mother and her son were wounded on the run
   they were both found and saved by a lady who prayed in this child’s name
                                                           
   a thousand years away on a bed of straw and hay a dying man lay
   in his last breath he calls this child's name in peace he fades away
 The astronaut rejoiced as his daughter gave birth As he orbited the earth
   He gave thanks and praise For his grandson’s birth In this child’s name
   who is this child who can he be he gives his mother such joy in ecstasy
   
The child became a man with strong and gentle hands Of a carpenter
His work was a prayer he offered up every day with his foster dad
Who is this young man Who can he be he gives his foster dad such joy and  
quiet delight
    
He left his joyful home - And gathered friends to himself revealing the Kingdom of God - And as a humble man He took a strong and gentle stand
 calling out to God calling out to man - Love I AM
  He opened up his arms To embrace us all - And we nailed them dowm
   As He was dying -  He prayed to God His Father - To Forgive us all
   He laid down his life - To set us all free - From sin's slavery
Who is this man who can he be  Gives His Father In heaven divine  delight
He rose from the dead and raised us up to share His Divine life
   
In every nation and tongue Songs of joy and thanks are sung
   In His Holy name
He is the living Hope  Of our deepest desire  To love our Father in heaven
 Who is this man  The perfect image of his Father  In Heaven 
   He is the sacred link Of our human desire for eternal Life and Peace
 His Holy Sacred Name Is the living light and flame Of mercy and hope
 
 
  Who is this man - God’s divine Son
 
   He became man for us to share  His divine Life
