Thank God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Family, that our family is able to afford the house in America.  My God bless the house for those who come and live in the house.  The house is belonging to God, Jesus Christ, as the owner of the house.

Forgiveness... one of the toughest hurdles in the spiritual life! This song is a meditation on the importance of forgiving others and a prayer for the grace to let go of resentment. The video will appear on EWTN's Life on the Rock (February 6, 10,11).

If you don't know Lee O'Day, he's the program director for "The Sword of Saint George" or KSWZ, a Catholic radio station near the college town Manhattan, Kansas. As he'd had us (the Catholic parody band Captain Hogcurl's Dacha Porch) featured on his "Saturday Night Sword Play" contemporary Catholic music show before, we sent him this track, a remix of Praise to the New Eve. He enjoyed it and actually added a little connective tissue to the music to make it play twice as long for the radio program. This was such a thrill and a huge compliment. Some of you may have noticed that this Top Catholic Songs website was offline or erratic for a few hours on Thursday 1/6/22.  I was attempting to switch hosting to my home-based Synology Disk Station DS1513+ (an NAS – network attached storage unit). It did not go well. The Intel Atom Dual Core 2.13 GHz processor with only 4 GB of RAM cannot handle the demands of this Drupal 6 CMS (content management system).

So I switched back to SiteGround, a hosting company that has made the decision to soon end PHP version 5.6 service. They say that PHP 5.6 it is too old and they don't want to spend money on security maintenance. I am looking for a new hosting company that is willing to host older technologies. 

The problem is that when I switch this Drupal 6 website to PHP 7.x or 8.x, our self-hosted audio players disappear...

Joy To The World! originally title The Messiah's Coming and Kingdom was written by Isaac Watts in 1719. His words were inspired by Psalm 98 in the Bible and is actually a song collaboration of over 100 years. The music was adapted by Lowell Mason...
