The Light

The Light is a song composed by Derek Brown.

Derek requested for me to sing his song, and this is my offering to all peoples in the dark.  And His light is for all, and specifically for the marginalized, the lost, the outcast, and the sinners!!!

Thank you Derek for letting me be a part of your song journey.

Responsorial Psalm 46(47):2-3,6-9 for the Ascension of the Lord - God Goes Up With Shouts Of Joy; The Lord Goes Up With Trumpet Blast

MP3 Music Playlist:

Responsorial Psalm 46(47):2-3,6-9

God goes up with shouts of joy; the Lord goes up with trumpet blast.

All peoples, clap your hands,
cry to God with shouts of joy!
For the Lord, the Most High, we must fear,
great king over all the earth.

God goes up with shouts of joy; the Lord goes up with trumpet blast.

God goes up with shouts of joy;
the Lord goes up with trumpet blast.

Why would a former Protestant write a song in support of the Papacy? Radio Interview

Lee O'Day was gracious enough to interview me on 105.3 KSWZ-LP The Sword of St. George.  He has a Saturday night show that plays contemporary Catholic music.  You can listen from anywhere at kswzlp.com.  The spoken part of this segment begins at 1:53.

Catholic Techno Song Educates Listeners

I was talking to a Protestant friend the other day who wanted to hear some of the Catholic music I was doing.  After listening to this track, there were a few polite questions and then the comment, "I never understood that.  This song is quite educational."

I previously posted the lyric video to this track but here's a link so you can listen on your favorite music service:

Bridges and Walls

Bridges and Walls, Original Words and Music by Rene A

We need to make a serious choice, today!!!
Not tomorrow!

Do we build walls; or bridges that can allow communication, understanding and love to start creeping and can someday stand united.

Make love, not war!!!
Peace and hope be in our troubled world!!!
