Hello Richard and all,
I hope you're all keeping well.
I wrote this Hail Mary a number of years ago - but only just put it up!
My prayers go with you all.

Peace to you all!
My name is Nothingless (Filippo Rossi is my real name), I am a catholic hermit and I live in Israel.
I love music and this is my first song release, my version of the Our Father.
On my blog post -at the link below- you can see the video, listen and download the HD version of the song for free. You'll find also the lyrics and chords, (if you wish to sing it at your church I am very happy), and the link for the song on Spotify and other online platforms such as Apple Music, I Tunes ...
https://www.nothingless.net/our-father-the-lords-prayer-song/
The song is free except on some platforms where I could not choose. In my blog I write also reflections on the Word of God and more.
You can also watch directly the video on YouTube (If you want to subscribe to my YouTube channel or my blog newsletter I appreciate). The video shows beautiful images of the Sea of Galilee and its surroundings, where the prayer of the Our Father was pronounced and taught by Jesus 2000 years ago.
Contrary to the beautiful landscapes, even those of the Holy Places, which are destined to disappear, the words of the Our Father will never disappear, because “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away” Mt 24:35.
Everything was produced by me at my hermitage. Please note that I am not a native English speaker...I try my best...
Many thanks to Richard to keep alive this site and give us the opportunity to promote for free our music!
An affectionate greeting to all hoping that my music can convey an emotion and say something about God, our heavenly and most loving Father.
Edgar Villavert Combong submitted his song "The Calling." It's a beautiful reflection about answering the call to serving others as Christ served us. - Richard Schletty
"If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts"
The Calling is dedicated to ALL who serve our LORD JESUS CHRIST, especially the nuns who have not been acknowledged for their services, to our priests who are faithful to their vocation, and all frontliners called to serve the people of God during these difficult times. Thank you and God bless!
THE CALLING
Words & Music: Edgar Villavert Combong

Only yesterday, when You called me to be near You
I was young and blind, then, and didn’t know how to love You..
Now I understand, You took me by my hand
Telling me Your plan for man and woman
Telling me Your plan for man and woman
No doubt on my mind, Lord, You called me to serve You
How can I refuse You, when You know how much I love You..
Now I understand, I am Your chosen one
Called to share your plan with your people
Called to share your plan with your people
Repeat/Refrain
What I’m giving back is not enough, for Your love
You have died for me on the cross for all my sins
And even though You know I was to blame
You’ve forgiven me, my Faithful Friend
Thank You, Lord Jesus, please let me be Your servant
I’ll proclaim Your Good News, to all the lands
Now I understand, I am Your loving hands
Doing what You’ve planned for humankind
Doing what You’ve planned for humankind
Repeat & Fine
What I’m giving back is not enough, for Your love
You have died for me on the cross for all my sins
And even though You know I was to blame
You’ve forgiven me, my Faithful Friend
Thank You, Lord Jesus, please let me be Your servant
I’ll proclaim Your Good News, to all the lands
Now I understand, I am Your loving hands
Doing what You’ve planned for humankind
Doing what You’ve planned for humankind
My Lord, unworthy as I am, I’ll be Your loving hands…
Guys: I HOPE and trust that all is well with you and yours. At your deepest level, I know they are:)
Here is my Lenny Smith bandcamp page containing dozens of my “rough” unrecorded songs: melody, lyrics, my voice, my ’69 Gibson J45, and some background noise:). It’s enough for me, and, perhaps, it is enough for you. These are songs I have written since 1965. I lived and loved through the Jesus Movement. You will be able to tell. Just pretend you found my "basement tapes" in your garage.

CHASING THE WIND

Song for Reflection (Quo Vadis or Where are we going?)

1. You spend your life working, enriching
But what do you gain, my friend?
Just rusting coins for your ruin
And bloody fighting among your kin, Yeah
Yes, it’s just like chasing the wind
Just like chasing the wind .....
2. Why spend your life changing, and challenging
The Laws of the Living God
When generations come and go
But the world remains the same, Yeah
It’s just like chasing the wind
Just like chasing the wind .....
Repeat//Refrain
Enjoy your life while you still can
But live according to God’s Plan
For He has made you for His purpose
Believe in God and you’ll find peace and joy
Instrumental
3. You spend your life searching and pondering
When this game of life shall end
But the answer you’ll never find
Until you see the face of the Holy One, Yeah
Repeat//Refrain
Enjoy your life while you still can
But live according to God’s Plan
For He has made you for His purpose
Believe in God and you’ll find peace and joy
Or, it’s just like chasing the wind
Just like chasing the wind
Just chasing the wind
Edgar Villavert Combong sent me his song "Is This the End of The World?" I like it because it is very timely and expresses hope for unity and peace. - Richard Schletty
A song of hope and courage during these difficult times.
IS THIS THE END OF THE WORLD?
Words & Music: Edgar Villavert Combong
Copyright 1981/2020
Mother earth, your tears are falling
Is this the end of the world?
Is this the end of the world?
The Second Coming of the Lord?
Scarlet bane
That binds the free world in chains
Who caused this unholy game?
Our faith and spirit never wane
We'll overcome and rise again, Oh yeah
Nations, unite
Come together and be the light
Slay the dragon that comes into sight
Fear not, we will be alright, Oh yeah
Ours, is tomorrow
Make our Freedom Flame stay aglow
We will win the battle, turn the tide
For the Lord God is on our side, Oh yeah
Mother Earth, your tears are falling
Is this the end of the world
Is this the end of the world?
No, it's not the end of the world
No, it's not the end of the world.
